Invasive Alien Species in France : New management feedbacks available in English

The Invasive Alien Species Resource Centre, supported by the IUCN French committee and the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB), has published the English version of volume 4 of the “Invasive Alien Species: Practical Knowledge and Management Experience” series, which was released in French a year ago. This book compiles the last 25 invasive flora and fauna management feedback, translated into English.

Capitalizing on the experience and know-how of those working in the field, the center’s resources target all species of flora and fauna in marine, freshwater and terrestrial ecosystems, in mainland France and all French overseas collectivities.

About one hundred descriptive sheets and management feedbacks made by the IAS Resource Center concerning invasive species are available on their platform. Classified by species (alphabetical order of common name), these records are meant to be updated regularly and will be supplemented by additional management experiments on other species and habitats.

All the management feedback translated into English are also available individually on the Resource Center website here.
