LIFE Natur’Adapt, the Comic Strip
After 5 years of helping managers of natural areas to take better account of climate change, here’s the story of the LIFE Natur’Adapt project in comic form!
Natur’Adapt is a passionate, multi-stakeholder and evolving group, which exchanges knowledge and feedback in a convivial way around a common issue: adaptation to climate change in protected areas.
Discover the story of the Natur’Adapt project through Sarah Belin’s colorful illustrations: from its genesis in 2018, through the various reflections, but also the major stages of experimentation, and testing of tools and method.
Over the pages, follow the journey of a manager wishing to take action to deal with the consequences of climate change on his protected area. It’s not an easy story, as he has to face up to his emotions and the difficulties he encounters.
This comic strip is primarily aimed at the general public, to raise awareness of the project and the impact of climate change on protected natural areas.
Available in French (print and web) and English (web only), this medium corresponds to the Layman report requested by the European Commission to summarize the work and results of LIFE projects.
